The National Coalition for LGBTQ Health will conduct the 20th Annual National LGBTQ Health Awareness Week from March 21-25, 2022. Created by the Coalition in 2003, National LGBTQ Health Awareness Week features partner organizations from around the country who support LGBTQ Health and conduct activities during the Week to raise awareness of timely LGBTQ health issues. The Coalition invites you to join as a partner organization for the upcoming Week.
Last year, over 100 organizations across the nation joined the National Coalition for LGBTQ Health. Together, this awareness week reached over 1.7 million individuals on Twitter and Facebook, educated more than 3,000 individuals with a webinars on topics in LGBTQ health such as providing affirming care, and engaged 80 Congressional Offices with information impacting LGBTQ health including public accommodation, discrimination in healthcare, and behavioral health outcomes.
Partners for National LGBTQ Health Awareness Week participate in educational and advocacy activities throughout the Week, help amplify LGBTQ health awareness messages on social media, and conduct their own activities to raise awareness of LGBT health issues, including those related to their organization's interests.
There is no cost in becoming a partner. The only thing we ask is that you help promote the week on social media and through your networks.
